Ethel Apron
Dontcha think Lucy and Ethel would have loved matching aprons?! Although I should be doing about ten other things, I woke up and kept thinking about the other view that I had cut out so I headed to the sewing room and made view E of McCalls 3979. It will also be a friend gift. This one was a little easier to put together than the last one but I'm not sure if it is because there are less curved edges on this design or because I am now in a groove with applying bias tape. Either way, this is an adorable style. I recently found Heather Bailey's Freshcut line of fabric at a local store and you can bet I'll be creating this apron in her fabric.
This apron is just as cute as the first. It is an adorable pattern and I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteBonnie - do you work from home? Who cleans your house? Does Laundry? Walks the dogs? Cooks? Man I want to be half as productive as you are! My birthday is Monday and I don't have an apron (hint, hint, joking). I love both of those aprons.
ReplyDeleteThis morning I am off to an ASG function instead of sewing! It's always something!!! g
These are just too fun!! I love them!
ReplyDeleteAprons came out great -- perfect apron fabrics and combination!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I love gaylen's comments -- yeah, who does the cleaning? cooking? laundry? bleaching. . .
OMG it is too freaking cute too. You should make them and sell them.
