Ravelry
I received my invitation today. I haven't gone to check it out yet and probably won't until the weekend but my ID is BonnieCrocker (in case that means anything to those of you who are also members.)
Hey, Ms. Bonnie, I'm CathyCate there in Ravelryland. But I haven't put much of my own stuff up; in fact, I think I'm going to take down the little I put in 'my stash' because I'm horrified by the thought of photographing everything I have and putting it in there. Not to mention how long it would take me. But I love being able to search patterns and yarn, and especially seeing patterns knit up in different yarns, so I'm glad of people who are doing better than I am! I want to put my FOs on, anyway.
You lucky girl! There goes all your free time! There are still over 2,000 folks ahead of me but they claim they are admitting 500 per day at this point although that doesn't seem to track their numbers. Can't wait to see you there!
I love Ravelry for looking up patterns and yarns that I want to try to see what others have done with them. And the forums are fun as well!! See you over there!
Make sure you have plenty of time. ;)

I got mine about a week ago, and I haven't even begun to discover what all is there. It's pretty cool. I'm LaurieB.

ReplyDeleteRavelry is fun and a great time burner. ;) I love seeing all the projects that were handcrafted by so many talented and creative people.
