But enough about MY goodies; this IS a race after all! At 11:50 p.m. last night, I picked the speckled yarn from Cathy and cast on for the dishrag I'll be sending to Michele (who alas, is blogless). I'm not a night person but I was wound up after a six hour flight, so I thought I would make some good progress. Nope! Got sleepy within 10 minutes so I didn't get very far. Not to worry.... I was up at 6 this morning, grabbed a cup of coffee and headed out to the patio. An hour and a half later, VOILA! The dishcloth was done.
I packed up the dishrag, two balls of cotton and some goodies and will head to the post office in a bit to send the package on to Michele.
COTTON COMMANDOES RULE!
You got *good* stuff! I'm still waiting for my turn. I seem to be almost last in my group.
ReplyDeleteBonnie - I just got my box on Wednesday and shipped it back out on Thursday! I got that same dishcloth in solid purple! It seams to be fav in the contest. g
ReplyDeleteNice goodies in that box. That was a quick turn around for sure.
ReplyDeleteWow, Bonnie, awesome work! I'm glad you liked the dishcloth and treats -- and glad you USED the dishrag; my father refuses to use the ones I make him because 'they're too nice'! Guess I need to make uglier ones??
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Bonnie and Cotton Commandoes!!
Cathy
Great job, Bonnie. Cotton Commandoes are back on the road. Looks like the box is holding up through all its travels, too.

Ok, that looks seriously like a fun race!! You were quite speedy it sounds like. I hope you win!
ReplyDeleteVery nice turn around time, and thanks for sweetening up the USPS. We can use all the help we can get. Now you can enjoy your treats. CC rule!
ReplyDeleteYou are one speedy commando but Lucky 13 is going to win! I did - alas - take 2 days to turn my rag but we're still going to kick butt.
ReplyDeleteNice goodies and a pretty dishcloth in your box. You sure were quick. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteSo cool! I am sorry I missed out on this round. Seems like a lot of fun.
